on ESPN right now...it's games like this that make college basketball what it is...both teams are great defensively and have shooters from the outside, neither are flashy and their players fill their roles very well...i like Butler's offense but id like to see them have more variations

Just checked ESPN and seen where Appy St. beat Wichita St. today. I was hoping to see the game, but I don't have ESPNU and I think it was playing on it. This may boost ASU's chances of playing in the tourney without a conference tourney title.
Before today, I had a feeling if ASU and ETSU both lost in their conference tourneys you might see them facing off in the NIT.

Yeah, after seeing both ETSU and ASU play this year, I think they'll both make the NIT if not the NCAA tourney. I think either team can get as far as the 2nd round or even the Sweet 16 if they get the right draw, especially ETSU.
They have to take care of the Southern & A-Sun tourneys first though. Should be an exciting time as it always is.

How's Webb doing for Appy this year?
He's not getting a lot of playing time this year. They have a transfer from UVA in the post that took a lot of his expected minutes I believe.
